Couples seeking serenity should try this place

We had an incredible time at this resort. The outdoor shower in our villa was a highlight, every morning I felt like I was showering in nature, surrounded by greenery… it was amazing!

Sure, it wasn’t exactly a bargain,, but you kind of expect that for this level of comfort.

The stunning backdrop of rice fields made my stay unforgettable! 🌾 The atmosphere is so peaceful. However, the breakfast could use some variety for non-Asian dishes.

The grounds at Visesa Ubud Resort are stunning. The lush gardens create a beautiful and tranquil environment, making it a perfect retreat. The outdoor bathroom in our villa was a standout feature, giving that authentic Bali experience. We enjoyed dining at Lesung. the food was fantastic, especially the lunch options. However, breakfast could use improvement, especially for those not keen on Asian dishes. Some staff seemed a bit untrained, particularly at reception. The villa we stayed in had issues with lighting, and the cleanliness left something to be desired in parts, like the dusty mosquito net. It’s an inconvenience to have to lock each room separately. Not ideal for a relaxing getaway. Overall, the experience was enjoyable, but a few aspects could really use some attention.

We loved the enriching cooking class where our kids harvested fresh veggies right from the resort's garden. The spacious River Valley Suite was perfect for our large family, and everyone enjoyed the beautiful views. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

In my wife's opinion, more family-friendly activities would be great.

The dining scene at Visesa is on point! The breakfast spread is top-notch, and the animal parade and fish feeding are just the right blend of fun for the kiddos. Don't miss out on the delicious lunch at Lesung too—seriously scrumptious bites!

On the flip side, the breakfast options feel a bit lackluster if you're not into Asian dishes, and some staff at reception could use a training refresher.

visesa ubud resort is a hidden gem! our family loved the private pool in our two-bedroom villa, perfect for relaxing together. The staff went above and beyond. their eagerness to assist, especially during our cooking class with the chef, made our stay unforgettable. the gardens and rice field views were simply stunning!

Charming villa, beautiful gardens with a serene atmosphere, and a wide selection of delicious breakfast options each morning made our stay very enjoyable. it was also conveniently located just 40 km from the airport.

The enchanting gardens and serene pathways make it easy for senior folks to stroll and enjoy the beautiful landscapes without hassle. Each nook of Visesa Ubud Resort offers charm that feels like a beautiful Balinese village.

More shaded seating areas near pools would be nice.

Just a solid selection for a weekend trip in Ubud with great value for money. The staff was helpful in guiding me to explore local attractions. Consider bringing bug spray as there were a few insects around.
